My granddaughter used the laptop to burn DVD's and now the resolution on my screen is so large, I can't see anything. I have tried changing the resolution from the properties tab on resolution, but that hasn't worked. Any other way to change the resolution?

If that does not work, check on the Device Manager and see if there is any issue with the driver for the display device. If it shows any warning sign, try to look for the drivers from the original installation or manufacturer and should let you change resolution again.
