Resolution problem on Windows 7

My computer wont show me any bigger resolution then 1280x720 when the native resolution is 1600x900.


My monitor is an HP S2031 and the graphics card is AMD Radeon HD 6530D and im using windows 7 please help. ):

You've tried to change the setting in Catalyst Control Center but it won't let you?

Yes, I tried but it didnt give me any options too. I also thought it was the monitors drivers, but all are up to date but still.

did you just do a reinstall of windows? or a reformat?
