Restored Windows XP and now I have no sound

I used the Windows XP restore disc and just got done re-installing the operating system and I can't get the audio to come up. When I go into the control panel and click on "sounds and audio devices" it says "No Audio Device" I've tried installing -IDT High Definition Audio CODEC but I keep getting code 10, can anyone please help me?

You will need to install the audio driver and all the other drivers for the motherboard, video, LAN, etc. If you need help finding them, you should post the make and model of your PC.
