Restoring Deleted Files

  1. Hello all,

I know that there are programs that can restore files that were deleted in the recycling bin. Is there any way to make sure that a file is permantly delete, even so a restoration program couldn't restore it?

    thanx

You can get something that can write over that position in the HDD numerous times, but most of the time the BEST software can still recover that data. But yes it is possible.

Thanks much. If i defrag and use a file wiping program to overite the unused space, would that help more?

I've never used a program like that, have only heard of them working. Have a look At this site for some helpful info.
