  1. Ok so I have a rtf document that's been made and edited in wordpad it's been saved and is missing 15 pages.

I have a version of this saved on a memory stick and it's missing about 70 megs but the original file saved on the desktop has the exact same content in but is the right size.

This makes me think the conetent is there but I just can't see it for some reason - has anyone run into this before? How do I get the content back?

    Literally can't understand this....

    Thanks in advance guys!

that a Wapping Big Time file if the missing portion is 70mb!
hmm; you just got caught by a difference between the Windows FileSystem (which is NTFS) and the USB FileSystem (which is almost always FAT32).
Files on NTFS can be very large, but FAT32 can not be as large.

    Hey thanks for the reply.

I read somewhere someone else had exactly the same problem with an rtf file that was only 50 megs.

Apparently there's some corrupted stuff in there which wordpad won't display (POS) so you have to open it in notepad2 and go to the lines/columns that are busted and remove them.

This was actually for someone else and they aren't patient enough for me to sort it so thanks, but consider this closed....
