Rumor: Sony PSP2 to feature large OLED touchscreen, 3G

  1. The PSP2 will sport an OLED touchscreen and 3G data from NTT DoCoMo when it arrives later this year. The former means the screen will be physically larger, making the yet-to-be-announced specifications (Sony is said to be working on a new processor specifically for the handheld) even more interesting, while the latter will enable multiplayer as well as full video and game downloads over the Japanese cellular network, according to Japan's Nikkei newspaper.

    Sony claim it's as powerful as the PS3? OH MY =D

    If that's true that's a real advancement and so cool, must be a new and smaller cell chip, they just need to get the feel of it just right especially now that they have dual analog/thumbsticks, I really didn't like the cheap and 'clunky' feel of the first, especially the crap analog stick the looked like a little speaker or mic =P

    That OLED screen should make the battery life better aswell.

    i wish this is true, yet i want to see more then decide, for now it's PC+PS3 & big hype for PSP2 :p
