    Hello,

One of my goals in life is to have a functional, online runescape server and have people play on it. I have foloowed the directions posted by the username "runescape" and i was wondering if any of you guys can help me out. Ya know, give me a link, tell me yourselves. How do i make a server, with a website, and make it functional and have people play on it?

I would greatly appreciate it and please, help me out. :(

    Sincerely,
    Luvz2spewge

creating a Public accessible server (of any kind) has these requirements
    • purchase a domain name from a registrar
this gets the name know and into the DNS systems with the newly assigned IP address
    • normally; purchase a web hosting solution (ie where the website is installed and maintained)
    • create website content locally and then
    • upload to the public site
If you wish to host the server on your own equipment, then
you update your relationship with your ISP and give them the newly assigned IP address

you port forward from your router to the LAN address where the server will run and

open the firewall on that system for the same ports that were forwarded.
