Running windows 8 as virtual machine in win7

  1. Hi! I want to run windows 8 as virtual environment in virtual box as host as win7...
    my lap specs are...is this enough to run win8 as virtual machine ..??
    specs:
    intel core(tm) i3 cpu
    RAM: 3gb
    32-bit
    2.13ghz
    I need to know whether I can run win8 as virtual machine....??

    You cannot run a virtual machine with only 3GB of RAM. Windows 7 needs 2GB to run. You will then only have 1GB for running Windows 8, which is not enough. You should have at least 8GB of RAM and a quad core CPU to run virtual machines. Also, since you have only a dual core CPU, 1 core will be needed for Win8, and another for Win7. this will make both OS's run very slow.
