Runtime Error

HELP Please
I'm using yahoo messenger and when i go into Message archieve it states a runtime error says Program:C:\Program Files\Yahoo!\Messenger\Pager.exe and says the application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the applications support team for more information.
What is this and what does this mean? What can i do to fix this problem.
Any help would be appreciated greatly.

Hello and welcome to Techspot.

Have you tried uninstalling, and reinstalling the programme, from add remove programmes in your control panel?

The latest version of Yahoo messenger has a few bugs at the moment. Though what you describe doesn`t seem to be one of them.

the program is not in sync with the library.

use add/remove to fix the program and if you see Microsoft Visual exe c++ runtime Library,
uninstall it too.

when your done, reboot.

you can reload/install yahoo if you must, but I advise FORGET all IM;
it causes or creates too many security issues
