Russia might start using China's Zhaoxin x86 chips because of sanctions

“us?”

Always knew you were a Russian bot.
Russian Bot? 😂 Maybe he is not Russian but lives in Russia like me. When you live here for a long time (like me), you develop love for the country and its people. Consequently, you are going to defend the country as if you were a real Russian.

Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa: We are all in this together.

The sanctions of the west cannot hold us back ever again.

Brasil has strong ties with Europe, especially Portugal. Both in culture, language and politics.
Russia isn't even on the top 25 countries that Brasil exports goods to.
Brasil is not a Russian ally.

China is also not a Russian ally. They are playing the long game. With the Russian economy crashing, they'll take the opportunity to buy up everything that is worth owning in Russia, at a steep discount. Just like they did in several African countries, with their belt and road initiative. Don't be surprised that a decade from now, all those natural resources in Russia are being owned by Chinese companies.

India is just taking advantage to buy up some gas and oil on the cheap. They will never put themselves on the line for Russia.
In fact, their greatest concern is China. So getting close to to the USA and EU is on the table.

I don't even know about South Africa, but they mean nothing in the world stage.

lol no one in the west is considering martial law. Meanwhile, might wanna look at China who’s basically got it atm…

Russia’s economy is a disaster right now, and China’s is rapidly heading for crisis due to a brain drain and a zero covid economic disaster. The west has little to worry about.
Economy is very good here now. This is an example of how propaganda distorts the things. I live perfectly in Russia with all the comforts, like any Westerner almost. Don't trust propaganda, please.

I have an uncle that lived in China for 7 years in the late 90s-early 2000s helping with clean water solutions for the nations interior and while he did form many friendships he never liked the country itself. In fact, he had a long list of places he felt the Chinese government could kiss him, and none were pretty.

I myself have friends in Rostov-on Don, and they have a very different story than yours. They are nearly convinced that Russia's economy could collapse to pre-2000 conditions soon. Russia has cut interest rates by 3 points twice in 6 weeks, and are expecting the GDP to shrink by more than it has since the mid 90s. They also said that it is widely known there that a boost in GDP in the first quarter was due to the citizens stocking up while goods were available.

Honestly, nobody should trust your propaganda.

You are silly if you think South Africa can be included in that list, not to mention Brazil. You're daft outright if you think Brazil will side with Russia and China against their friends of the "West".

One thing is sure, Zelensky is not an angel and Putin is not a demon. It's 50/50.
I agree that the Ukranians won't be squeaky clean as it's war and war brings out the worst in some people. However, to say they are 50/50 is completely wrong.

Putin is a demon. He launched a war of conquest for personal glory and now he has ruined his reputation, his legacy and his country will suffer the consequences of his misactions for years, perhaps decades to come.

Putin is a demon.

I fully disagree.

Now, I can only post every 9 minutes, because of some $hit with the comments system. Hopefully it's not a part of Techspot censorship.

Propaganda by any other name would still smell as sweet?
Truthful propaganda is the one coming from the comments of people on the frontline, e.g. Ukranians under bombardment. Those sources are totally true. What some journalist is saying from the comfort of London, Washington or Moscow, I don't care.

I don't pay attention to what Patrick is saying but to what Ukrainians themselves are saying on his videos. Those people don't lie. At least in Donetsk and Mariupol he is showing something near the truth, not like the Western propaganda in which the only criminals are Russians. It's 50/50. He is only in Mariupol and Donetsk. He wasn't in, for example, Bucha. So, we'll have to wait for the end of the war to start to know the truth about all that, little by little. One thing is sure, Zelensky is not an angel and Putin is not a demon. It's 50/50.
I sure the Ukrainians are no angels as well - it's war . But they do seem much better disciplined . Russia has a pedigree for war crimes - treating their own troops badly as well.
It's hard to deny the flattening of towns and cities where Civilians are living - targeting of civilians .
Their will be war crime trials for rape, torture , summary executions of civilians and POW - they can decide .
Yeah Ukraine knows had to do great propaganda with lots of dog, cat and animal stories .
Yet evidence is mounting of Russia with a pre-plan to kill certain people and destroy the Ukrainian culture .

But there is one telling point - if Russia have never invaded in 2014 and now - none of this would have happened - they could use normal methods to improve the rights of ethnic Russians . They claim the same rubbish for Baltic States - ignoring the fact they have deliberately imported heaps of Russians in tothis places and Crimea etc - This tactic is very old . China does it with Tibet - go to Lhasha it's mainly Han now

For some in the Donbass who thought they could benefit by Russia - how is it working out for them ?- refused entry into Russia - had their wheat , machinery stolen - forced conscription , had their homes ransacked .
This is not a liberation it's a power and land grab .

Victors write the history - USA committed war crimes in Vietnam - but I don't believe it was top down for the most part - same as policing in the USA - a lot of bad examples and entrenched systematic failures - but what we see on the street is limited to localities and inertia from the top to make real changes - Yet I think Russia's tactics to bomb schools/hospitals is proven in Grozny, Syria, Ukraine etc - it comes from the top

Not quite. The US and the West have never had any problem cozying up to dictatorships.

But it's not Russia you should be worried about. The West is rapidly spiraling down the toilet. I don't say that to be petty or vindictive. It's simply a fact. The Western elites are freaking out because they see the inevitability of a Russian/Chinese coalition that will crush the Western hegemony. They're pulling out all the stops to prevent it from happening. Things could get really onerous really soon. That includes seriously brutal martial law in the West.

China will be delighted to buy Russian oil at rock bottom prices. Aside from that they'll use Russia to wipe their bottoms.

It's a bit surprising that even though Putin (GFY) is such a tiny little fella, he always tries to present great strength. Yet at the same time he does a bend over for China as often as he can. It's not quite the level that trump did for him, but close. Of course, Russians don't get to see him groveling to China, so maybe that's part of it.
