Sigh . . . here I go again . . . more problems . . .
Exactly 4 days ago . . . my TV-OUT on my gfx card was working great. I am using a nVidia tnt2 m64 32mbram svideo tvout. I am using Windows XP pro.
Changes in Computer from day 4 to presant:
- installed dvd decoder card (creative dvd decoder dxr 2)
- installed dvd-rom 2x drive (creative dvd-rom 2x)
- moved the computer around . . . i guess
- attempted to use tv-out on dvd decoder card
- installed Virtual Tennis
- anything else ? i don't think so . . .
Actions took after realizing that my tv-out is missing:
- tried updating det. drivers
- tried uninstalling drivers and installing again (but everytime i do that, when restarting windows just detects it again . . )
- tried bombing the det drivers with Detonator Destroyer
- partioned drive . . . move important data to new secondary
- reformated main partion
- reinstalled windows xp o/s
- brought back files over
- merged partions . . .
Still, the tv-out does not work. Does anyone recommend anything else ? I know my wallet is all empty . . . I really want tv-out . . . because this computer is acting as my console system. Are there any stand alone tv-out pci cards ? I am happy with my gfx card already . . . Should I just look and get a new gfx card w/ tvout ?
