    Well, if it's anything like my 512 Samsung SSD it will be terrific. Since I added it to my laptop it flies and doesn't seem to heat up so fast. Only bad thing is that it has eliminated those nice little cat naps I used to take waiting for the old drive to boot up!

    No wonder Newegg lowered the price of the 840 Evo so greatly on Black Friday...

    Quite a bit cheaper than the 850 pro. If other SSD companies don't start doing something, Samsung could be holding the performance and value crown soon.

    And I bought 840 Evo 1TB 1-2 weeks ago for $350 from Amazon.. Oh well, still a good price I guess.

    I think they already do. I just hope they will get a 2TB out very soon; that will cause other companies to feel some sense of urgency and wake up.
