    I have an MSI gt70 which has s turbo mode on it and I get better frame rates than that. Same specs only 12gb of ram though and it only cost me $1600 and I have a multi colored keyboard.

    Fan noise and heat are my main concerns with gaming laptops. I have a 17" Dell XPS which gets quite noisy when the fan is under gaming conditions (MW3, BF3) and hot under the keyboard. I often wonder if this stresses the laptop components too much, being in such cramp conditions and all.
