SATA drive doesn't appear in XP explorer

    Hi there!

    My system has two HD's: 1 ATA and 1 SATA (Maxtor 160 GB). XP (SP1) is installed on the ATA one. The SATA is seen by the device manager, and also by the RAID utility (it says it is OK).

    However, it doesn't appear in the explorer.

    How can it be accessed?

    Motherboard: Asus A7V600.

    Have you tried going into Disk Management to see if the drive shows up there?

    Eh.. no. And yes, it shows up there. And after formatting it, the drive shines in the explorer. :grinthumb
