    Guys,

    I have a gigabyte 8INXP motherboard with 2 on-board SATA interfaces - I think it's using sil312r.

Anyways, I have 3 SATA Hard Drives - Can I just buy another SATA Controller Card and add this to the motherboard so I can use all three SATA Hard Drives.

    Any info appreciated,

    Thanks
    Derek

Yes, but check the card manufacturer's website in case of compatability issues with some hardware, though I can't imagine there will be any :=). Highpoint and Promise are both popular I/O card manufacturers.
