I have a 790i mother board with about 6 or 7 sata connections
    Let's call them slot 0-6.
I will have 2 Samsung DVD optical drives and two 160gig Sata drives to be set up for Raid 0
Should I plug the optical drives into Sata slot 0 and 1 and the HDD into slot 2 and 3 or the other way around? or does it just not matter?
    Thanks in advance

It really doesn't matter functionally but for display/ listing purposes start putting the drives in SATA 0

by drives, you mean the HDD in Sata 0 and 1 and the Optical in Sata 2 and 3, correct?
    thanks
