SATA to Xbox proprietary adapter

  1. I would like to plug a SATa hard drive into the proprietary plug on the Xbox 360 as my Xbox hard drive connection is loose. I am NOT looking for a USB to xbox adapter. I cannot seem to find any. I do not wish to buy a shell for the xbox hard drive. I would just like to directly plug a sata hard drive into the xbox 360 port without buying a shell.

    Does one exist out there?

    Hey Ted,

I'm not sure what you are looking for exists, at least I've never seen a proprietary adapter before. You'd also still need the software if you do manage to find some type of adapter, but I imagine finding that online would be a lot easier. I would suggest buying a shell, even though I know you don't want one. If cost is the issue, just buy a used 20gb one from craigslist. At least here locally I see a lot of cheap offers from people trying to get rid of old or modded 360 items.

Also what do you mean your drive connection is loose? Have you opened it up and tried to fix it?
