SATA working properly?

I was using everest to check my SATA drive, and I seen that it was recognized as IDE. The HDD is connected using SATA and it is the drive windows is installed on. If my computer is running fine, does that mean that the SATA interface is working properly and I'm just worried about nothing, or are there drivers I need to intall for it to be recognized as SATA?

Make sure it's enabled to run as SATA in the BIOS and not IDE.

Yeah thats about it and if you problems with it being recognized make sure you check the jumpers.

You don't set jumpers on SATA drives.
