Does anyone know how to permanently disable this service to keep it from shutting down my server 2003 standard installation every 2 hours?????

Help

Sbscrexe.exe is the service for windows small business server 2003. I don't think disabling it will make your server work but here goes nothing.

Press "START", then "Run" and type services.msc
When you press enter a new window will appear. It contains information about all the services installed on your system. Find all services that use the command sbscrexe.exe and set "Startup type" to "Disabled" or "Manual". If you set startup type to manual they will only start if needed by other processes. If you set startup type to disabled the service will not start even if it is required and as a consequence all processes that depend on it might as well be disabled too. You can check dependencies using the "Dependencies" tab on the far right.

If doing this kills your server for good just reset all the services you modified.

Hope this helps.
