Screen blanks out

    In the past few weeks I have notice that while on the Internet watching a video or on You Tube, my screen blanks out for a couple of seconds. Sometimes it comes back to what I was watching and other times it comes back to my Login screen. I've not experience this problem when I am using Windows, but then I am not on Windows for any length of time. Anyone have a clue as to what could cause this? My video card is an eVGA FX-5500 nVidia GeForce 256MB DDR. Thanks

    I think you can blame the shoddy Nvidia drivers for that.

    I know it sounds painful, but try running with the ordinary VESA driver and see if it still happens or try manually installing the newest drivers from Nvidia's site.
