Screen goes black when playing WoW

Hello i have an Nvidia Geforce go 7900 gs for my laptop. When i play World of Warcraft , the screen goes black , but i can still hear sounds from the game. The Screen never frozed before but it seems that smth is wrong now...

Does the screen go black at any other time when not playing games?

Just to be quite sure, try another monitor and see if the problem is the same.
