Search engine maleware (google, yahoo) on internet explorer and firefox

When I open up google or yahoo (either in IE7 or Mozilla firefox), the google window opens up with a larger font (my font size is currently at 100%, and it seems a little larger). When I click on any one of the links, I am taken to different websites which are advertising about different things - online education courses, arthritis, skateboarding videos, etc. In fact this happens when I use any search engine - yahoo, google, msn (windows live), etc. Please let me know how I can fix, I would be very gratefuil
