secondary hard drive problems

  1. i recently added a second hard drive to my system as a seems to work fine until i reset the system....anytime i reboot i can still see the drive but when i try to access the drive i keep getting a mssg saying drive is not formated will you like to format it now ....i have already formated the drive and it has info stored on it...i have done this a cople of times and keep going around in circles.....all help will be greatfully welcomed

    the drive is a western digital 120g....i created 2 partitions one is currently unallocated and the other is formated with ntfs format.....all help welcomed

    theres the unallocated ,must be a xp thing to ask to format this part of search ,may be able to turn off.
    or if you need to format unallocated do this see if you still get message.

    Creating partitions and formatting are 2 different didn't mention how you partitioned.
