Secondary hard drive troubles

  1. the other day I accidentally set the partition on my second hard drive to primary. Now I can't have it in the comp or it will try to boot from it, and since there isn't anything on it, it fails. how can I set the hard drive so it doesn't try to boot itself?

    In Bios Boot Priority click on that drive and disable boot.

    You disable that drive in the BIOS boot sequence. You can also boot to a Windows CD and edit the partition to reset the 2nd hard drive to secondary.
