Self-extraction archive multiple custom locations

  1. is there a software which will allow me to create a SINGLE self-extraction exe which extracts the contained files to multiple locations of my choosing. That is, one which sends file A to C:/Windows and file B to %SystemRoot%\system32\, etc.

The reason is i'm trying to slipstream some files into my windows xp installation disc, but i don't want to have a new self-extraction file for each path. Should i instead build an installer rather than a self-extraction archive to get this done?

    thanks
    -Sam.

You could extract using one file that automatically runs a batch file (or installer) that would then extract further files to individual locations. (gets messy)
I'd probably just run one at a time, through an installer (batch or script)

Mind you, there are switches for WinRar that can extract certain files only, say all files in one folder, or all files that are DLL, and then it could run another line that extracts another folder or file to a specific location. So it can be done
