    I don't have any idea. But interestingly enough, when I was younger and my dad had a couple Macintosh computers their keyboards were real heavy too, then we bought a UMAX (Mac clone) and its keyboard was really light, like a cheap PC kb. So it was interesting when I unpackaged this one and it was heavy too.

    As a wrap up to this thread, I think, I just hit 10,000 Positive Feedbacks and got my 'shooting star'. Took 2.5 years, so it is a pretty big milestone for us:

    I am still pretty annoyed with the new additional ratings, of course. In fact, I am likely to stop selling on eBay in a week or two due to vacation schedules and it is a big question as to whether we will resume when we get back. Stay tuned...
