Serious error report
Hi all, hope we are all well?. New to this but need help....
My PC is being a pain in the butt: If I run AVG the computer seems to lock up.
Then I get the BSOD with the following text:
STOP: 0x0000000A (0x0000000F,0x000000F,0x00000000,0x804DAB1B)

Once I restart the damn thing, I recieve this in a dialogue box:

The system has recovered from a serious error.

A log of this error as been created

I haven't got a clue what the hell this is??? Please can someone help me.....PLEASE!!

I recommend Free Avira, that's what I use

And if I'm allowed to help you with my experience and vast information gathered over many years of technical support and Malware removal, then yes I recommend it ;)

As stated, I am new to all this. And may I apolgise if I caused any upset asking you the last question. Obviously your experience is what I require to get my PC going properly again, I have unistalled AVG Free and run the AVG removal tool, Avira is at present running a scan as directed, all updates were done before running the scan. Thanks again, lets see how we do?

Jason ;)

No probs jase, just that I usually have a debate at this point with Why? And where do you base this info from? Blah blah blah. And so I just posted the above (not directly at you, just everyone :D)
Why can't a support person post info on their experience anywway? Note this is rhetorical

I have run the AVIRA and found 2 viruses, it as removed/ healed these and I have deleted the file in which it was harbouring. at present things seem stable, but if it should run silly again, i will be straight back on here for more invaluable help.....cheers Jay

Please help..... upon the BSOD I recieve this:

DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

Loads of other reccomendations about uninstalling drivers etc.....

Then this:

***STOP:0x000000D1(0x00ACDE98,0x00000006,0x00000000,0xACDE987c)

What is it? No virus found on AVIRA Virus scan.
