Setup did not find any hard disk drives installed in your system on Gateway M685

    I am sure you all have heard this problem alot but please help. My harddrive died and I bought a new one. I installed it and tried installing windows xp corporate and got this message "Setup did not find any hard disk drives installed in your system" My laptop is a Gateway M685 with a serial ata harddrive. I have read a few posts and dont know how to install the sata drivers because it has NO floppy drive. I do have a floppy drive and adaptors for usb but not sure how to get drivers installed from a usb hookup. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
