Setup Help! 8800gts g92 + asus p5vd2-mx se

I currently have a asus p5vd2-mx se mobo with 2 gig ram, a WD 160 gb sata hard drive, and no vid card.
I purchased the nvidia 8800gts g92 video card and put it into my pci-e slot and turned on my computer. All the fans and hard drive fans started, but nothing showed up on my monitor. After looking at my PSU, I realized that my single 12v+ rail was only 18A. I now ordered a new PSU, with 3 12v+ rails for a total of 52A. Will this setup work? or do I need to get a new mobo.?

The correct power supply should work. However you have not told us what that power supply is.

the power supply that I bought is an antec neo 500w PSU
