    this happens only on 1 pc in my domain

    i have searched google and "tried" all the suggested fixes still nfg

    error:Windows File Protection could not initiate a scan of protected system files.

    The specific error code is 0x000006ba [The RPC server is unavailable.
    ].


    i have deletd the pc account from the dc and rejoined twice
    ran all updates from MS

    It would help if we had more information.
    OS (2k, xp, Vista, incl. which version of same) and SP#.

    Is this a new problem? Have all computers always been part of the domain?

    Note... AFIK... Some versions of Windows do not work with domains. XP home is one.
