Shopping for a new laptop & need advice

    My roommate is shopping for a new laptop. He wants something that is super-portable and lightweight. His max budget is $4000. The laptop is mainly going to be used for business, so he does not need an ultimate gaming rig. We are currently looking at Sony, IBM, and Dell. Any suggestions?? We really appreciate all your help and advice.

    Thinkpad X60s - you can pretty much max it out with your budget.
    Might want to consider a HP nc2400

    I would advice against Dell and Sony..
