Shopping for CPU (max $35)

I have a mach speed board modle is mk8-939a and I would love to put a new cpu in it that doesn't run over $35 not sure what to get if anyone could help thank u. It has a amd sempron modle # sda3000di02bi would like something faster.

I'm not sure which CPU's the motherboard will support, without seeing a support list. I did a quick search and didn't see a support list. Good luck.

Personally, I think its a waste of money unless you are replacing a faulty component. Keeping the machine going is one thing but spending money on a upgrade for such an outdated socket design is another.

Sempron 150 2.8 GHz would suit your specs, but that'll hardly keep you happy for long.

It should have the VIA K8T890 chipset so any socket 939 will work. But for under $35 will be tough.
Ebay was a good suggestion.
