Show hidden files and folders

    hi techspot,
    i cant show the hidden files and folders since i change the value in the registry buts still it has no effect at all.whenever i click on the no hidden folders and change the value,and i will go back to the windows or close the registry, it has no effect.how am i suppose to delete the virus since it disable the show hidden files.

    check this "go to kellys-korner-xp.com\xp_tweaks.htm and find "show\hide..." download it and it will repair

    or, u can use tune up utilities 2009
    run the program >solve problems>tune up repair wizard>problems working with files and folders (check its box)>next>next>finish
