Simm ddr 400

Can anyone tell me what SIMM DDR PC400 memorys are for cause i only know DDR DIMM are they the same

do you mean SODIMM?

SODIMMS are for laptops.

SIMM = Single Inline Memory Module (http://www.webopedia.com/TERM/S/SIMM.html)

DIMM = Dull Inline Memory Module (http://www.webopedia.com/TERM/D/DIMM.html)

A simm DDR PC400 ram module might need to be installed in pairs.. though I haven't really seen one....
