Sims 2 Wont Start

I got the sim 2 yesterday and installed it.everything went fine with that.i have all the system requirments for the game as I upgraded not long ago so when i went to open the sim 2 it always says

cd/dvd emulation software found.please disable all cd/dvd emulation software and resart the game.

does any 1 no what cd/cd emulation software is..

Have you got Nero Burning Rom Installed, or are you running Daemon Tools (or possibly any other CD burning software which mounts a virtual drive)?

I have Nero, Is that a Problem with Sims2?

Try disabling the nero image drive at startup and start again.

Nero has never been a problem here. I have 4 CD international version of Sims 2.
