Firefox starts, works very slowly, google search will give results but clicking them will redirect to windowsoneclick sites. Internet explorer terminates with no warning
started the 8 steps:
1) downloaded Avira, first scan on 2/14 had 20 detections, updated on 2/15, second scan o detections
2) ran CCleaner twice
3) disabled Avira
..... then could not make progress...
4) could not download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from the techspot link. tried several other sites such as Download.com and did succeed in downloading mbam-setup.exe, but cannot get the program to run
5) could not download SuperAntiSpyware from the techspot link. unable to download from any other site
6) J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 2
7) could not download HiJackThis from the techspot link. unable to download from any other site
