My current broadband speed is 200mbps. When I first upgraded my broadband speed, the speed on my pc through an ethernet cable was at 200mpbs intermittently. Sometimes it stays at 200 for like a week, then it goes to roughly 95 mpbs for roughly a week then it goes back 200 then it does this cycle. But now, it's only a 95 mpbs. The odd thing is that using wifi on my laptop, im getting speeds of around 150!and this is at the second floor of our house when the router is at the ground floor. Surely broadband speed through an ethernet cable should be faster than wifi. Any ideas? or is simply just my cable is faulty? I have a cat7 cable. Thanks in advance!
