    Hello everyone,

Bit of a weird one, but I've noticed that when ever I start up my PC running win xp pro that I'm getting a new entry in event viewer stating the following: -

"The smlquusv service failed to start due to the following error:
The system cannot find the file specified".

    The event ID is 7000.

I'm not having any issues with the general running of the PC and evrything appears ok but I just wondered what this might be refering to?!

I've tried googling this but can't find mention of it anywhere.
Any help or any light anyone can shed on this would be appreciated as it's got me very curious to say the least! :)

    Thanks in advance

    Dan

Please verify this spelling: smlquusv service failed to start.

There is no legitimate Service that I can find with that spelling. When relaying an error message, correct spelling and case of letters is vital to correct identification.

IF the spelling is correct, I agree with kimsland, look for malware.
