OS: Win 7 64-bit
SndVol.exe (Volume Mixer) hangs when I try to adjust the volume. The mixer opens up but as soon as I click on the slider it freezes. And then eventually after a minute or two it responds and I'm able to adjust the slider again like normal.
I don't know if this happens just once after every restart. But it's happened enough that it's annoying.
I had this problem quite some time ago and then it was somehow fixed for a while. I have no clue what could have helped.
I've done scans and I know it's not related to a virus or trojan. Even when I first had this issue a while back there were no viruses or trojans present at the time.
I've searched for drivers for everything listed under "Sound, video and game controllers" in Device Manager and I have the latest drivers:
Intel(R) Display Audio
NVIDIA High Definition Audio
NVIDIA Virtual Audio Device (Wave Extensible) (WDM)
Razer Surround Audio Controller
Realtek High Definition Audio
