  1. oldbird1965 Newcomer, in training

    Hi, I'm new here, I hope this is the right spot for this question. I have a gateway solo 1100 laptop, old but has been reliable. Now the screen goes blank right in the middle of doing something and I have to reboot to get it going again. Anybody have any ideas? I've turned off the power settings in power management and it still does it.
