Some videos from GoPro Hero2 won't play

Looking for a little advice. I borrowed a friends GoPro Hero2. Took about 50 short little action videos. 35 of the videos I can view fine as I play in VLC or other video viewer programs. The other 15 just come up as a black screen with no video duration. The properties indicate the footage is there, but I am unable to view it. I also tried uploading these videos into GoPros 'Cinepro' but they won't upload there either. Really want to see these remaining clips -Any help is so appreciated!

Post a dump of the details of these 'black screen' videos. Resolution, format, FPS, etc.
