Sony to pre-install Chrome browser on Vaio laptops

  1. Google is stepping up its efforts to nab some additional browser market share from leader Internet Explorer and second-placed Firefox. As promised earlier this year, the company has now formalized and revealed an agreement that will see Chrome pre-installed on all Sony Vaio-brand laptops sold in the U.S.

    I'm a Geek Squad agent, and I set up new computers all the time in the store, and I've noticed for a while now that Sony laptops have already been coming with Google Chrome on them as well as Internet Explorer.
     
  3. Is it only me, but doesn't the Chrome icon look like a bit tit?
