Sony vs. Samsung

Hello,

I'm going to buy a laptop sometime in the next month or two and have some questions;

I was very interested in the Samsung QX410 but stores here in Canada no longer carry it. Should I wait for Samsung next 14" laptop (size i want) as they stated that 2011 will see a large surge in their laptops (and they plan to fight apple on top dog);

or

Should i just spend the grand on the sony VPCS131FDS which has the same specs as the samsung but is 13.3" instead?
