Sound Blaster 5.1, mr 8k2 mixer, has delay when recording

hi, i just got the sound blaster 5.1 usb sound card , i record in mixcraft and my mic is hooked up to a mr-8k2 mixer which hooks up to my laptop. from checking settings to reinstalling nothing seems to work someone please show me how to hook this up right or give me some tips with latency i played with it up and down still no luck . thanks for the help.

Have you gone to Creative's support website and downloaded and installed the latest drivers for the card and your version of Windows?
