Sound coming from wrong speakers in 5.1 channel

    Hii all,
    First of all a pleasure to be a part of techspot.

    Well coming to my problem, I have got 5.1 channel Altec Lansing speaker.I dont know my sound card.But control panel/sound and audio devices/audio link shows Realtech HD audio rear output.

    Can I know the sound card installed from this . If not then how can I know":?

    Uh, if you're just trying to figure out what sound card you have, check the Device Manager (Start > Run > devmgmt.msc > Ok) or download a third party program such as Everest. If you own a proprietary PC (Dell, HP, Gateway, Acer etc) search their site for your model to find out more information about your PC. If you don't have a proprietary system, take a look at your motherboard manufacturer's page, because odds are you've got an integrated sound card.
