I know some basics about computers but not enough to troubleshoot or fix this problem on my own.
Just recently I noticed my headphones' sound cutting out and coming back in (sound for a few seconds and silence for a few minutes). This problem hasn't gone away even after switching to my speakers. This hasn't happened before with the headphones or the speakers so I think it has to do with my soundcard.
I have no idea what is needed to troubleshoot, please tell me to add onto this:
Motherboard: Biostar TF 570 SLI
Sound Card: It's built into the motherboard
OS: Windows XP Professional x64 service pack 2
Device manager sound options is attached in a jpeg.
Headphones: Turtle Beach Ear Force HPA2 5.1 channel surround sound
Speakers: Some kind of Yamaha, 2 speakers 1 subwoofer.
Please help.
