Sound disappeared

    Dell optiplex gx620 XP-Pro Used to work fine for years, sound disappeared suddenly.

    Device manager says: SondMAX Integrated Digital Audio: This device is working properly

    but:

    Control Panel: Sounds and Audio devices says: No Audio device.

    Any idea/advice appreciated!
