Sound for my headset does not work on Internet, only iTunes and other applications

Neither my USB headset or my headphones work for things like youtube but work with itunes and steam. Thanks

what OS are you using?

windows 7 ultimate

right-click the speaker on the taskbar (bottom right) and select "open volume mixer". In Win 7 you can set individual volumes for each program. Give it a shot and see.
