Sound output to Mic input

Ok, so here's my problem:

I need to voice chat, but I it doesn't play my voice. As the title sais, the sound output from my speakers goes directly in the input for my microphone. And I don't want that... How do I fix this?

I have Realtek HD audio onboard, if that helps..

like your what comes out of your speaker channel is also coming OUT the mic channel?

@Ultimo: Yes, the sound that normaly comes out of my speakers, is also ouputted from my mic..

Anyway, problem solved! I rebooted my computer just to tr, and that didn't work. So I shut it down, and have a look at it some other time. When I rebooted the next time, it just suddenly worked.
