Sound problem with Realtek HD Audio...please help

Hi.

Tonight, while I had the HD Audio Manager open (checking to see if everything was working correctly, because my daughter's game was not making noise...turned out the game was actually silent; I'd checked sound by playing a song on youtube). She reaches over and clicks something on the mouse, and now, everything that makes sound over the net is silent. I still have computer sounds, and my speakers work when I test them. I have no idea what she clicked. Please, please help.

Thank you in advance.

Try using System Restore to restore to a point before the problem occurred.

if this is vista/7 whenu have apps open you can adjust the volume specically for each app. open ie and double click the volume speaker and check the internet explorer volume.

As brucethetech said, you can change the volume level for each program from the built in audio mixer in windows vista/7, however that menu isn't a part of the Realtek HD audio manager interface, so unless that was open, I don't think it could easily be accidentally clicked... You could try another browser as a start? if the mixer isn't the problem
